Week beginning 12th October

This week has just flown by! Another busy week being amazed by the positive and caring attitude of all the foxes.

We began the week practising our long jump technique in PE - there are some extremely bouncy foxes amongst us!

In English, we have continued looking at newspaper articles and have prepared ourselves for writing our very own newsreport next week, based on our book 'Lights on Cotton Rock'. The children excelled in their drama activities again- interviewing one another as characters from the book.

In Maths, we have worked hard to ensure we have efficient methods to use for addition and subtraction and have challenged ourselves with word problems requiring us to use these skills.

We have continued to learn more about space and our very own moon. We found out about an inspirational astronaut, Helen Sharman, and wrote her a letter asking questions that we would like answering. Fingers crossed we get some replies.

One more week until Half Term! :-)

Have a great weekend.
