Our Learning
What a crazy week we have had in Seals class! It has involved predators, fingerprints and a fantastic theatrical performance!
Science Week –
We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating British Science Week in school this week. The theme this year is ‘Connections’ and the Seals have focused on connections in nature. This has included looking at food chains and food webs. Today, we rounded off Science Week with a carousel of activities which all linked to the theme ‘Connections’. The children thoroughly enjoyed moving around school, taking part in hands-on activities taught by different members of staff!
Beauty and the Beast –
On Tuesday, we were fortunate enough to go to the Repton 400 hall to see a performance of Beauty and the Beast. The cast were phenomenal and it was a great experience for the Seals. The children were even lucky enough to get drinks and ice cream during the interval!
Homework –
Children have not been given a sheet of homework this week but have been asked to read at home at least 3 times! They should practice their spellings and times tables alongside this.
