What a fantastic week: all the foxes have been absolutely amazing. You should be very proud of them.
They have adapted to our 'new normal' brilliantly and have made me feel really welcome in my first full week at Repton Primary School. I'm really excited to spend the year learning with them.
It's been a busy week!
In Maths, we've looked at Roman Numerals - learning a mnemonic to help us remember them and then chalking them around school - and then moved on to lots of place value games.
In English we've been learning about playscripts. We began the week acting out some scripts then wrote our own based on the book 'Rain before Rainbows'. Today our class set up our own outdoor theatre and watched the finished performance. It was lovely to see how confident all the children are and how well they all worked together as a team.
We've also squeezed in lots of talking about how our brains work, how it feels to be at the bottom of the 'Learning Pit' and how to get out! As well as some fox artwork and origami. All this in between lots of handwashing!
I think you may well have some rather exhausted foxes this weekend!
Have a great weekend and I'll see all the foxes on Monday morning (in PE kit!),
