This week in Maths we have started our learning on statistics. We have been reading and interpreting line graphs, drawing line graphs and using line graphs to solve problems.
In English we have written some brilliant biographies about Ole Kirk Christiansen. We have also started to do some research about one of the people we have been learning about in our topic lessons. We will use this research to write a biography about either Abraham Darby, Richard Arkwright, George Stephenson or James Watt.
In topic we have been learning about George Stephenson and the very first passenger steam train - The Rocket. We learnt, from sources, that there was a tragedy on its maiden journey from Liverpool to Manchester. We then had a go at writing an account, pretending to be passengers on the maiden journey, using the sources to help us.
Many thanks for supporting us with the Harvest Service this week. Thank you very much to all of you who helped walk with us down to the church.
