This week in Maths we have been looking at multiplying both unit and non-unit fractions by an integer. We have also been continuing to focus on simplifying fractions and converting improper fractions to mixed numbers for our final answers.
In English we have been focusing our writing on the book that we have been reading in class - The Light Jar. We have written explanation texts for some of the objects in the book and we have also written a diary entry. It was really good to scan through the book to pick out all of the ideas for our plans and we had a range of points of view for the diary entries which was really interesting.
In topic we have been looking at the work of Jane Goodall and what she discovered about chimpanzees. We have been creating adverts to encourage people to raise money for the Jane Goodall Institute as we have also learnt about why chimpanzees are endangered.
We had a great day on World Book Day and all of the costumes were fantastic!
