What a fantastic week that we have had with the Hedgehogs this week!
In English, we have started to learn the story of Elmer. We have created a story map for Elmer and we have been following the story through actions. We have then thought of some lovely sentences to write about elephants, by trying to use full stops. Next week, we will look at using adjectives to describe Elmer and start to change the story of Elmer.
In Maths, we have looked at counting and sorting objects. We have looked at putting objects into groups based on their properties such as colour, size, or shape. We have then been practising our numbers up to 10, by writing, showing and recording the numbers. Next week, we will look at ordering and comparing numbers up to 10.
In Topic, we have looked at our amazing selves. We have each created a family tree of our family. We then have looked at what we were like as a baby to what we look now. We have also looked at events that have happened in the past, the present and what events may happen in the future.
Thank you to all the parents that came to the Meet The Teacher presentation. All the information can be found on the 'Parent Information' tab on the Hedgehog page. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in contact with Mr Armishaw or Mrs Wain.
What a great week, have a restful weekend Hedgehogs!
Mr Armishaw & Mrs Wain.
