Welcome Back!
We hope you have all had a great half term and a well earned rest! The children have all come back with fantastic atttitudes towards their learning.
We have started our English lessons with a focus on our book 'The Explorer'. This is in preperation for World Book Day next week. We have made a good start writing a letter home from the perspective of one of the characters. We have also started thinking about writing a newspaper report about the children's disapperance. This will be continued next week.
In Maths, we have been ordering and comparing decimals and worked on rounding decimals to the nearest whole number and one decimal place.
As February is LGBT+ History month, we have found out about Dr Alan Hart, who worked in medicine, speciallising in tuberculosis. We looked at the NHS rainbow badge and its meaning.
