Another super week in the Owls Class! We have had lots of fun with our learning and really enjoyed our 'Move Up' day on Thursday!
In maths, we have been learning about pictograms. We have been reading, interpreting and creating our own pictograms. We looked at pictograms where each picture represents '1' and also looked at pictograms where each picture represents either 2, 5 or 10. Show someone at home what you can do (remember to look at the key!):
In English, we have continued with learning our new model text: Teddy's Adventure! This week, we innovated our model text. We chose a new main character and special item. What did you choose? We then rewrote the introduction to our story using our new ideas.
In science, we designed and created boats made from different materials. Which material did your group use? We then made scientific predictions on whether it would float or sink! We tested this out. Can you remember how each boat did?
