Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On Thursday we celebrated RSE day at school. Each class took part in RSE activities around the theme of "Faces". We talked about emotions and how we show emotions. We also talked about families and how all families are different, but all special. We talked about "Respect" and how we show respect in different situations. We also talked about love and ways to look after our own metal health. Finally, we also discussed positive self image and identified positive things about ourselves, building positive self-esteem and self-confidence.

Year 6 had a fantastic opportunity on Tuesday as part of their work on the circulatory system during our Science Week by going to Repton School to do a heart dissection. This first hand experience helped them produce some amazing work. Their behaviour was top notch so well done to the Year 6 team and thanks to Miss Jordan for organising.
This week we have had a group of Year 4 and 5 girls who have been extra keen to keep our school tidy. Armed with litter pickers and bin bags they have given up their lunch time to patrol the field clearing it of litter. Even though our school is very tidy they still managed to fill two bin bags with litter and rubbish that has blown onto our school grounds. Well done girls and keep up the excellent work!
Year 2 had a super trip to Carsington Water this week. The children learned about plants and wetland habitats. Their behaviour was perfect all day. Thanks to Repton School for letting us use their minibus for the day.
