Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On Tuesday (24th January) some of our Year 1 and 2 children were invited to take part in a sports hall athletics event. Eight schools took part in the morning event which included running, jumping and throwing. Our children performed and behaved exceptionally and did us proud. Thank you to Repton School for letting us use their minibus to transport the children to the event.
On Monday our KS2 children were very lucky to be invited to Repton's 400 Hall to take part in a workshop with the famous saxophonist and broadcaster Jess Gillam MBE. Our children were truly inspired by Jess who talked about playing the saxophone and also played some of her classical pieces. Thea, in Year 5, was very lucky to have been picked out to perform on stage with Jess - well done Thea! Jess took the time to perform to us whilst she prepared to perform at Repton in a concert. She is used to performing to thousands of people at huge concerts so it was extra special for us to have this opportunity. Once again this is a benefit of having our excellent working partnership with Repton School so thank you to them for the invite.
