Our EYFS children in Robins had an Easter Bonnet Parade today.  We were so impressed with the creativity and effort that was put into all of the hats.  A massive thank you to all of our parents and carers! Our parade was lovely.

  • FA Girls Football Tournament

    Mon 11 Mar 2024 S Tague

On 7th March 7 Y6 girls participated in the FA's largest girls football tournament at St George's Park. Our girls had never played together but after a couple of lunchtime training sessions from Mrs Jones the girls started to feel like a team. The girls did us proud and finished 4th out of 16 teams! There was some lovely football and some good goals - well done girls! Their behaviour was perfect and they represented our school proudly. Thanks to Mrs Jones for helping out with the team and to the parents and grandparents that came and supported.

  • WBD Repton library visit

    Fri 08 Mar 2024 S Tague

On World Book Day a group of children from Key Stage 2 were invited to visit Repton School's library. They were treated to a special tour which included some of their oldest pieces of writing and books. The children were fascinated by the artefacts and learned lots of local history. The children, of course, behaved perfectly. Thanks to Repton for the invite and also to Mrs Pushkarich and Mrs Wain for taking the children.

  • Stay and Read in Reception

    Fri 01 Mar 2024 K Riley

Today we had our first stay and read event in reception.  Parents stayed for 15 minutes when dropping off their children to share books together.  The atmosphere was lovely and it was a great event which promoted the love of reading in our younger children.  Thank you to all of the parents who were able to stay and read.  It was a lovely event and one which we will repeat in the future.
