ReptonPrimary School

WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

10.11.23

It was lovely to see all of the children again this week and we hope you all had a lovely holiday. Unfortunately, there seems to be quite a lot of sickness around at the moment. Please remind your children about good hand washing and hygiene to cut down on risk as much as possible. Please also make sure they have a  coat every day now it is getting cooler and wetter.

This week in English, we have started our work looking at instructions. We have analysed text and looked for common features. We have also completed work on using imperative verbs. You could look out for these when you are reading together.

In maths, we have been learning to use formal column addition with exchanges. The children are really improving using this method. You could help by asking them to add up shopping bills for you or something similar.

On Thursday, we will be going to see High School Musical at Repton School, you will have been sent all of the details about this on a Parent Hub. Please let me know if you are collecting your child from the 400 Hall at Repton School that day, if not they will be collected from our playground at about 4.45pm.
