In maths, we completed our final unit! This week, we have been learning about quarter turns, half turns and full turns. We then thought about turning clockwise and anticlockwise! Can you follow these instructions below?:
Move forward 3 steps.
Quarter turn clockwise.
Move forward 5 steps.
Half turn anticlockwise.
In English, we completed our very last 'hot write'! We planned and wrote our own losing tale. We used our writing toolkit to include expanded noun phrases, conjunctions, similes, adverbs and even some speech! What was your story about? The children have all done a super job! I am very proud of all of their hard work.
On Friday, we had our very own Year 2 graduation! We celebrated all of our hard work and were awarded with certificates. We even had a little party, with treats! The children have all worked incredibly hard this year and we wanted to celebrate this with them. Take a look at our pictures below!
