We have had a great week. We have been thinking of some fantastic headlines for when we write our own newspaper reports. We have also looked at the two different types of speech, direct and reported speech. Alongside all of this, we have worked hard at improving sentences by using relative clauses to provide extra information. The children had some great ideas for this.
In Maths, we have completed our work on addition and subtraction methods, we finished with a consolidation lesson today where we had to use all the methods taught to solve some problems. We will be starting our new multiplication and division topic next week.
Our topic work has also been interesting, we have looked at Mayan beliefs and Mayan Gods today.
