Welcome back, I hope you all had a lovely holiday!
This week we can straight back into our work and in English completed writing our persuasive letter about stopping whaling. The children were encouraged to use features such as rhetorical questions and emotive language.
In Maths, we have now completed our work on fractions and year 4 children will be learning about decimals from net week. Year 3 children will be learning about measures and in particular units of weight.
We have now started our first science topic of the summer term which is Animals and Humans. We will be learning about teeth, the digestive system and animal adaptations. Next week, we will be learning about cleaning teeth and will be finding out how well we can do this by using disclosing tablets. Please remember to send a tooth brush and paste on Wednesday.
