Picnic on the field
We have all had a very busy week this week. We have been completing a number of assessments with the children for reading, grammar and punctuation, spelling and maths. These help us to assess the progress children are making along with class-based teacher judgements.
On Tuesday we had a wonderful time making our healthy sandwiches that we had designed in our DT project leading on from our work in science on food and digestion. The children had a great time and loved eating together for our picnic. Thank you all so much for the way you had everything prepared, and labelled for the activity.
On Thursday it was lovely to see you all at our Sports’ Day. The children loved taking part in the activities with you cheering them on. It was so good to see the sunshine that day!
We are due for some more warm weather so please remember to send a sun hat, put cream on at the start of the day and check they have a water bottle with them.
