Spellings
The children will be following our spelling scheme: Superhero Spellings. Your child will be given their new spellings on a Friday and we will teach our spelling lesson at this time. Their spellings will also be stuck into their homework diary so you can look at them at home with if you wish. The spellings will also be put onto Spelling Shed so they can practice them this way as well.
Throughout the week these spellings will be included in the dictation part of our English lesson to allow the children to familiarise themselves with writing them in context. They will also complete activities linked to the spelling pattern as part of their morning work.
