We have also been doubling and halving this week! We have been spotting patterns to help us with doubling and halving big numbers (e.g., half of 4 = 2, so I know half of 40 = 20). Can you half and double each of the numbers below? Remember when we double we are multiplying by 2 and when we are finding half we are dividing by 2:
In English, we planned and wrote our own letters to Zug the alien telling him all about our planet, Earth. We describe our planet, talked about things we do here and also wrote about Australia. We ensured we included capital letters, full stops and adjectives. We even included co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions and questions. I have been so impressed with the children's letters! They should be very proud.
