WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

17.5.24

Things have been a little different this week due to SATs for year 6 in school.

In English, we have covered areas of grammar and punctuation such as fronted adverbials, and apostrophes for possession and contraction.

In maths we have done lots of work on times tables and some fun maths investigations. These have included things such as working out all of the possible combinations of different ice-cream flavours from a given list.

The children had lots of fun in science this week, when we did a practical demonstration of how the digestive system works. Although a bit yucky, it really brought the whole process into clear focus.

It was lovely to see so many of you at the Bushcraft meeting on Tuesday. The slides from this are available on our class page and are the same as the original meeting.

Have a lovely weekend!
