Week 1
Our Robins have had a great first week! They are starting to get used to the routines and are making friends. They have enjoyed playing in all the areas outside in the sunshine (and the shade!) and inside, plus took part in snack times and successful lunchtimes. All children having school dinners, have managed to collect their dinner, carry their tray and eat really well. Well done!
We have all had a chance, during circle times, to tell each other our names and the things we like to do.
We sang lots of nursery rhymes and listened to stories whilst practising how to sit and listen on the carpet during this time.
We have talked about being Robins class and have looked at pictures of robins. They all made robins for our ‘Robins’ display. They look great!
We have introduced the children to the Monsters from our Monster Phonics scheme, ready for our sessions to begin next week. (All information about the scheme is on our class web page).
If you have returned your Tapestry permission slip, you should have received an email to log into your account. Please do so, so that you can see what your child had been up to this week.
We hope the children have a lovely weekend and are ready to spend the whole day here next week.
