Forest School
Forest School Wednesday 24th January 2024
We had a fantastic day in our forest school area with Liz from Little Acorns. Our theme for the day was Harry Potter. We started the day off with the sorting hat allocating us our house for the day. We then went outside and collected resources to make our very own wands. After we had made them, we practised some spells from the books. We then learnt some different knots which came in useful when we created our broomsticks. With our broomsticks, we played a game of Quiditch. After lunch, we had our potions class, looked at and identified some of the different leaves and trees on our school field and we learnt how to light a fire. To end our day, Liz cut up some apples for us to dip into brown sugar. We then toasted these on the fire. Well done to all of the Ravens for really immersing themselves into the day.
