Two equal groups of 5.
Three equal groups of 2.
Five equal groups of 6.
We then learnt how to write repeated addition sentences to represent our equal groups. Show someone at home how to do this:

This week in English, we have also been writing commands and statements. Tell someone at home if these sentences are commands or statements:
Today is Friday.
Pick up your pencil.
Turn off the light.
Canberra is the capital of Australia.
