ReptonPrimary School

WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

Admissions

Please note, Derbyshire County Council manage the admissions for Repton Primary School.

At Repton Primary School, the maximum number of Reception children we are able to admit is 30. Applications to attend this school in any school year must be made through Derbyshire County Council. This is possible through an online application, see link at the bottom of this page, which also confirms the application closing dates.  An open day normally takes place around November each year, giving you the opportunity to look around the school prior to applying, please see local media or contact the school office directly from 1st October to confirm the date.

We are also the feeder school for Newton Solney Infants, you can confirm application closing dates and/or apply for a Y3 place with us using the same DCC link below.

Please feel free to contact the School Office to arrange a viewing of the school.

If your child is offered a place in Reception or Year 3 you will be informed directly of the induction events that occur leading up to your child starting at Repton Primary to ensure that transition is a happy one.

If you are not offered a place for your child, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel – See below for details available from Derbyshire County Council.

Related documents from Derbyshire County Council:

"You have a legal right to express a preference for which school you want your child to go to. This isn't the same as being able to choose. Where you have told us of a preference for a particular school and there are places we'll try to offer you a place at that school. However, there is no automatic right to a place at a particular school and it may not always be possible to offer a place at your preference".

You have the right to appeal where you're unhappy with the offer made.
