Welcome to the School Admissions Page:
At Repton the maximum number of Reception children we are able to admit is 30. Applications to attend this school in any school year must be made through Derbyshire County Council. This is possible through an online application or paper document available from DCC.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you wish to arrange a visit prior to applying for a place.
If your child is offered a place in Reception or Year 3 you will be informed of the induction events that occur leading up to your child starting at Repton Primary to ensure that transition is a happy one.
If you are not offered a place for your child, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel – See below for details available from Derbyshire County Council.
This website: www.foundationyears.org.uk/parents offers some useful advice for parents.
If your child is in Year 6 or you are looking at your child joining us in Reception please click the Derbyshire County Council link below which explains the dates for applications for this academic year.

"You have a legal right to express a preference for which school you want your child to go to. This isn't the same as being able to choose. Where you have told us of a preference for a particular school and there are places we'll try to offer you a place at that school. However, there is no automatic right to a place at a particular school and it may not always be possible to offer a place at your preference".
You have the right to appeal where you're unhappy with the offer made.
