ReptonPrimary School

WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

5th July

Another week that has flown by!

On Tuesday the children all spent the day with their new teacher -Miss Bailey, for the day. They all seemed really positive about their day and are looking forward to being in Year 6.

Back in Ravens for the rest of the week, we have been working hard on our playscripts, in particular writing scene descriptions. The children did fantatsically with this, ensuring the charatcters knew their position on stage.

We have been working on our last unit of work in Maths, which has been 'converting units'. They have a good knowledge of the different measures and we used our skills to convert and solve prolems today.

In RE we have continued with our work on 'What would Jesus do?' by thinking about different scenarios and discussing what the best outcome may be. Some really sensible answers.

The after school drama group have been working very hard to put together a mini 'A midsummer Night's Dream' which will be performed at the Repton festival.  We will be going to Repton next Friday morning to rehearse and the rest of the children will be the audience.

Have a lovely weekend,

The Ravens Team
