WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

20th October

The highlight of our week was our visit to Cadbury World on Wednesday. We had a fantastic time- when we finally got there! We had a talk about the chocolate link to the Mayans, went to the 4D cinema, a self guided tour, where we went on a little car ride and tasted chocolate, with a choice of toppings. We then grabbed some bargains in the gift shop. It was a very busy day but the children did us proud. They were so well behaved and coped brilliantly with being on the coach for such a long time on the way there. They portrayed brilliant behaviour the whole day. Well done Ravens.

Alongside our exciting day on Wednesday, we have been  continuing with our work in Maths on factors, square and cube numbers. This is the focus of the homework this week. We have also moved onto multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000, which the children have a good understanding of.

We have also started a poetry unit- The Jabberwocky. The children all enjoyed reading this and focusing on the language used earlier in the week. This will continue into next week too.

It was lovely to see you all this week at parents evening. Thank you for your attendance.

Have a lovely weekend,

The Ravens Team
