WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

25th April

A huge well done is in order to the Ravens for this week. They had a fantastic time on their residential trip and their behaviour was excellent throughout. I know that lots of them have really surprised themselves with their achievements and they should be very proud. We have had lots of exhausted children on Thursday and Friday so we hope that they all manage to have a very much needed and well-deserved break over the weekend.

On Thursday and Friday, in Maths, we have continued with our topic of angles. We have been calculating angles around a point and we have also been calculating angles on a straight line and working out what the missing angles could be from the given information.

In English, we have been reflecting on our time at the residential. We have planned and written recounts of our trip. It has been so lovely to hear the children speaking so positively about their experiences and sharing memories that will last them a lifetime.

In topic, which has a Science focus for this term, we have continued with our learning on space. We looked at the Heliocentric and Geocentric models. We compared these models and looked at the Scientists and early civilisations that believed in each and then thought about what we think is the model that our solar system uses and why.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
