Chinese New Year Dragon Dance
To celebrate Chinese New Year we created a dragon dance in PE. We watched a dragon dance and then carefully created some of the moves such as fast and slow, high and low and curved patterns and pathways. We practised this by ourselves, in pairs and then in a group. We then put on our dragon drapes and performed to the beat of the drum. We talked about how working together and teamwork was very important for this dance. We had great fun!
