Our Robins have had a great first two days! They are starting to get used to the routines and are making friends. They have enjoyed playing in all the areas outside in the sunshine (and the shade!) and inside, plus took part in snack times and successful lunchtimes. All children having school dinners, have managed to collect their dinner, carry their tray and eat really well. Well done!
We have all had a chance, during circle times, to tell each other our names and the things we like to do.
We sang lots of nursery rhymes and listened to stories whilst practising how to sit and listen on the carpet during this time.
We have talked about being Robins class and have looked at pictures of robins. Some children have made robins in the art area for our ‘Robins’ display, which we will continue next week. They look great!
Next week we will begin our Monster Phonics sessions. (All information about the scheme is on our class web page).
You should have received a Tapestry letter on Friday. Please return to school, after which you will be set up and can log into your child's learning journal to see what they have been up to in school.
We hope the children have a lovely weekend and are ready to spend the whole day here next week.
Well done Robins – you have been fantastic!
