This week in Maths, we have completed our unit on decimals. We have been writing hundredths as both decimals and fractions and we have completed our end of unit assessment. We went through the assessment papers from a couple of weeks ago and these have now gone home. We will look at sending the reading, grammar and assessment papers home next week.
In English, we have been writing diary entries in the tone and style of Tuffy from "The Diary of a Killer Cat". We had to think about what other animals Tuffy could have taken into the house, how he caught them and where he found them. We then thought about how Tuffy could have been punished and whether he would change his ways. There were some very thoughtful and creative ideas! The homework this week is linked to diary writing where you can have a go at writing your own diary entry for a day of your choice.
