WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

06.12.24

This half term is just whizzing by!! At RPS this week, have got in the Christmas spirit by watching the pantomime at Pears Hall with Newton Solney and St Wystans, watching the EYFS Nativity performance and enjoying our Christmas Fayre! All were fantastic!

In English we started writing our non-chronological reports about WW2. This will finalise our topic work while consolidating all of our learning. The children have done some fantastic research towards this!

In PSHE we have been looking into a healthy, balanced lifestyle. We used an acronym from a charity- SMILERS. We set ourselves targets to ensure we are taking care of ourselves!

The Foxes class were incredibly lucky this week as Edward's Dad came into school with his collection of WWII memorabilia. This included a jacket, a gas mask, a ration book, badges and loads more! The children were allowed to look closely a the artefacts and took the opportunity to ask any questions that that had. We really enjoyed finding out more about Edward's family connections to WWII!
