WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

13th Dec

Good afternoon,

We have had a great week, we have continued some christmas festivities with watching the KS1 Nativity at the 400 Hall. The younger children wre brilliant and we all loved watching their show.

We have been witing non- chronological reports this week based on our topic of WWII. The children have thought carefully about the toolkit and produced some fantastic writing. We will continue to write and edit these on Monday.

In Maths, we have been subtracting fractions that break the whole and subtracting mixed numbers. We finished with an end of unit assessment, some elements of fractions will be revisited again this year.

We were extremely lucky to have a nurse for WWII visit us this week in a WWII workshop. She showed the children some artefacts and we discussed women's jobs in the War- the children engaged well.

We hope you have a great weekend, we are looking forward to the Carols in Church on Monday morning and our trip to Beaumanor Hall next Thursday.
