We have had a super final week of Spring Term.
In Maths, we have been recapping some of the areas that we have found tricky so far this year. We spent some time reminding ourselves about how to find factors of numbers and the differences between factors and multiples. We also looked at using number lines and fraction walls to find equivalent fractions.
In English, we have started a new unit which is based on a video clip called "The shirt machine". We have collected lots of technical vocabulary, which will be very useful when we come to write our explanation texts next term. We sketched our own designs for a shirt machine, which were fantastic! We have then written sentences about our machines to explain how they work.
Thank you so much to those of you that supported us with our art work by providing wrappers for our collages. We had a lot of fun creating these and they have turned out brilliantly.
There is no homework over the Easter holidays. Please remember to read, practise spellings and go on times table rockstars. Little and often practise of the multiplication tables will be particularly helpful as we get closer to the multiplication check in June. Please remember that the sound check game on TTRS is very similar to the format of the multiplication check and will allow the children to become familiar with what is expected.

Have a wonderful break over the Easter holidays.
