A busy week in school this week with our KS1 and 2 Sports Day event! The children loved racing and taking part in the different field events. As well as Sports Day, we have continued working on our statistics unit in maths, which proved to be tricky when looking at pictograms that were counting up in 2s, 5s and 10s. In English, we continued completing different tasks based on The Tin Forest, including recapping and using similes. In Science, we conducted an experiment involving planting cress seeds that have been given different conditions. We will see how these conditions alter the rate of growth to reinforce our knowledge on what a plant needs to stay healthy and thrive.
