Maths

In maths we have been using place value charts to multiply numbers by 10 and 100. We learnt that to times numbers by 10 you move one space to the left, and two spaces to times by 100.   

 

                       

 

English 

We have started a new book called The Day the Crayons Quit. We made predictions as to what the book is about and described how each crayon would have felt. We also explored some SPAG elements to uplevel our writing, such as rhetorical questions and subordinating conjunctions.
