Maths
In our Maths learning this week we have been looking at placing numbers in a place value chart and representing numbers up to 1000. We used number lines and flexible partitioning to do this.

English
This week Kingfishers wrote character descriptions to describe who would have lived in their settings. We looked at how to develop expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials to improve our writing. Towards the end of the week, Kingfishers completed their big write and did a brilliant job. These have been added to our 'Writing Gallery' in our classroom.
History
In History, we learnt about Skara Brae which is the remains of a Neolithic Village, located on the Orkney Islands. The children retained some brilliant facts about Skara Brae and created fantastic leaflets about it.

European Day of Languages
On Friday, it was EDL in which we looked at what this meant and identified different languages and flags. We then completed an activity as a class.
