It has been a very busy week in Kingfishers. Read below to see what we have been doing...
Science Week
The theme for this year's Science Week was 'Curiosity: What's your Question?' On Tuesday we looked at different scientists and discussed why they were important. We looked at Jane Goodall and the incredible work she did with gorillas, Kathrine Johnson and the changes she made to NASA and Mary Anning's incredible contributions to fossils.
Later on in the week, Kingfishers swapped classrooms with Owls and they created their own 'space rovers' and presented these to the class.

Throughout the week, we also created our own boats using paper to see if they could hold 25 marbles and built our own bird's nests.

Maths
This week we have started a new topic which is learning to times and divide by 10 using a place value chart. We had done lots of practice on moving our numbers one space to the left.
