WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

Week 7 - 15.12.25

We Did It!
We’ve reached the end of a long Autumn term—and what a lovely one it has been! I’ve really enjoyed spending this term with the Hedgehogs, watching them grow in confidence, independence, and even in height! They have been an absolute joy.

This Week
We wrapped up our learning across many subjects and celebrated with some festive activities:

  • Singing at St Wystan’s Church for our annual Christmas Service
  • Our Christmas party on Wednesday
  • The Christmas disco on Thursday
  • Ending the week with films and treats

Thank You
A huge thank you for all your support this year—whether it’s helping with spellings, reading, or extra phonics using the Monster Phonics booklets. It really makes a difference.
The past few weeks have been a little different with Christmas rehearsals, and Mrs Ward has also been helping in other classes, so apologies if your child hasn’t been read with as often as usual.

Thank you also to parents and family members who joined us for the many walks to and from the Repton 400 Hall for our nativity performances, and to St Wystan’s Church for both our Harvest and Christmas Services.

Reminders

  • PE returns to its usual days: Tuesday and Friday
  • If you haven’t yet paid for the Jamia Mosque trip, please do so as soon as possible
  • No spellings over the break, but please keep up with reading. Optional Spelling Shed and Maths Shed activities are available for those who’d like to continue learning.

Finally
Please relax and stay safe over the Christmas break. I look forward to hearing all about your festive celebrations in the New Year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
