This week in Maths, we have continued with fractions. We have been looking at improper fractions and we know that the numerator is bigger than the denominator. We have been converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa. We have also been looking at equivalent fractions, using number lines to help up.
In English, we have been looking at poetry writing. We are using animals to describe a storm and the ideas have been so creative. We have been using metaphors, similes and personification. We have got a little muddled with the difference between a simile and a metaphor so the homework this week is to sort out the similes and metaphors.
In topic, we have looked at islands and archipelagos in Sweden. We were quite surprised to find out that Sweden has the most islands of any country in the world! We have also looked at glaciers and how they have formed the landscape.
