Wow! This term has flown by! I cannot believe it is Christmas already and we are a third of the way through the year! The Foxes have had a wonderful final week of term, read on to find out more!

In English this week, the children have written a set of instructions, teaching others 'How to steal Christmas!' taking inspiration from the Grinch! I am so pleased how these turned out! The children worked hard to ensure that all the elements of instructional writing were included. They planned out their design to ensure all the information they needed to include would fit onto a double-page spread. Please see some of our work below...

In History we completed our double-page spreads: showcasing all our knowledge about the Tudors! The children have really enjoyed learning about the Tudor reign and all the significant individuals who were involved! Next half term we will be moving onto our Geography focus where we will turn our attention to China!

Alongside all our learning this week, we have had lots of fun making Christmas decorations, cards and playing games! We had great fun at our Year 5/6 party and those who attended, loved the PTA Christmas disco!
