What a great week we have had, Kingfishers! You have all worked hard to complete some excellent work!
Maths
In Maths this week we have been looking at multiplying and dividing by 2, 5 and 10. We have looked at how to share and group into different sized groups and how we can relate this to our times tables. We then used these skills to develop our problem solving and reasoning.

English
We have started our new English topic on 'The Lion, The Witch and the The Wardrobe.' We started reading the story and discussed how Lucy would have felt when she entered the wardrobe and emerged into Narnia. We used our senses to creatively describe our setting and then wrote about when Lucy entered the wardrobe for the first time.
History
In history this week, we looked at the two failed raids of the Romans and why these were unsuccessful. We discussed what the Romans could have done in this situation and how the Celts defended Britain.
