Maths
In maths this week, we finished our place value topic and completed our end of topic test which the children worked really hard on. We have now moved on to our topic on addition and subtraction, using the column method.
English
We have now moved onto our new topic...writing a set of instructions! This week we have been looking at using imperative verbs, time adverbials and adverbs in our writing to make it more interesting.
History
As part of our Stone Age topic, we have been studying the different homes found in the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. We looked at Iron Age Hillforts and what these would have looked like. The children then had a go drawing their own Hillforts.
