This week has flown by! Well done Kingfishers on completing what has been a very busy half-term. See what we have been up to this week.
Maths
This week we have been practicing multiplying numbers by 10 and 100 using a place value chart.
We discussed how when we multiply by 10 we jump one space to the left. This then helped us when we multiply by 100 as we learnt that we need to jump two spaces to the left instead.
Some children even challenged themselves by having a go at multiplying decimals by 10 using a place value chart!
PE
As it was our last PE lesson on gymnastics, the children performed their routines. They really took into account different balances they could do and made sure they held them for the correct amount of time.
RE
This week we were learning further about Diwali. We acted out the story of Diwali in groups and the children worked really hard to come up with fantastic performances.
