We have had another great week in Kingfishers class. It has involved VE Day, class photos and lots of creative writing!
English -
We are continuing to look at the Dream Giver this week but we have looked at creating our own dream. The children have created an object that the Dream Giver would crack the egg onto and they decided what they want their dream to be. We have written some fantastic sentences on our dreams.
Maths -
We have continued our money work this week. We have worked hard subtracting money. We have used number lines and manipulatives to help us achieve this.
Homework -
Children have not been given a sheet of homework as we would like them to go over their arithmetic papers and practice their incorrect questions. We also ask that they practise their spellings, times tables and read at home as much as possible alongside this.
