One week left to go! I can’t believe that it’s nearly Christmas! This week has flown by and we have completed some really good work this week. Well done, Kingfishers! ☺️
Maths
We have completed some very tricky work this week but the class have tackled it head on. We have been looking at dividing 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers using exchange and remainders.
English
As the term is coming to a close, we will be doing our hot write soon. We have been focusing on the features used in diary entries. The children chose a character from 'The Magic Finger' to write about. We had some fantastic ideas on what their characters would do across the week and how they would feel. We worked on using expanded noun phrases, time conjunctions and coordinating conjunctions in our work to make it more interesting.
