Maths
This week in maths we have been practicing identifying hundreds, tens and ones. We have been practicing finding 1, 10 and 100 more and less than numbers and working these out using place value grids.
English
This week in English we have created our own setting description that we will be using next week to write our own stories. These were based on an event that happened in the past and we had some fantastic ideas, such as the Ice Age, Ancient Rome, The Mesozoic Period and World War II. The children worked hard to draw their setting and label these with expanded noun phrases.
Book Bus
We were lucky enough to have The Book Bus visit us on Thursday. The Class had a fantastic time visiting the bus and buying books. They were very excited about this and had been talking about it all week! A huge thank you to those that sent money in with their child for them to buy a book
