English
We have been looking at the book 'The Great Green Island' and sequencing the events from the story. We looked at the features of a letter including: an address, date, greeting, paragraphs and closing statement.
We then started planning our own letters using the features we discussed to tell the story of 'The Great Green Island.'
Maths
This week we finished our topic on 'Statistics.' We drew our own bar charts from scratch, using data plotted in a pictogram. We drew our axis and then figured out what intervals our bar charts should count up in.
Later on in the week, we used two-way tables to interpret data and looked at working out different totals. We then used these tables to plot data onto different graphs.
On Wednesday we all came dressed in football kits to celebrate the England game!
