Week 1
Our Robins have had a great first week! They are starting to get used to the routines and are making friends. They have enjoyed playing in all the areas outside in the sunshine (and under the canopy in the rain!) and inside, plus took part in snack times and successful lunchtimes. All children having school dinners, have managed to collect their dinner, carry their tray and eat really well. Well done!
We have all had a chance, during circle times, to tell each other our names and the things we like to do.
We sang lots of nursery rhymes and listened to stories whilst practising how to sit and listen on the carpet during this time. We've also enjoyed circle games, which they have loved!
We have talked about being Robins class and have looked at pictures of robins. The children have made robins in the art area for our ‘Robins’ display.
Next week we will begin our Monster Phonics sessions. (All information about the scheme is on our class web page).
