This week in Maths, we have started our unit on statistics. We have been interpreting charts, interpreting line graphs and also drawing line graphs.
In English, we have also started a new unit. Our stimulus is a video clip called "Counting Sheep" and we will be aiming to write a sporting commentary by the end of next week. We have gathered and up levelled vocabulary, written rules for counting sheep, which included modal verbs and adverbs. We have also looked at the key features of a sporting commentary.
In Science, we have done the end of unit assessment for our sound unit and we have started our unit on living things and their habitats. We have looked at how we can classify a range of animals.
We were thrilled to be able to actually get outside on the field and properly practise for sports day. We all have our fingers crossed that the weather will be on our side for next week!
