Maths
In maths this week we have been learning to write numbers in words. We used matching activities and word mats to help support us with this.
We also looked at counting on from any given number on a number line.
English
We have been doing lots of work on writing simple sentences using capital letters and full stops. We used pictures from The Gruffalo to help with our sentences.
We then started to make our plans for our own stories. The children came up with their own setting and character that the mouse meets.
PE
In PE this week we have been practicing our balancing and pretending to be different animals. See some pictures below:
