This week in English, we have been writing action scenes relating to the work that we have been doing on Spy Fox. We have also been planning our big writes. We are going to be writing the ending of our story where our spy characters will defeat the villains that we have created. Everyone has got such good ideas!
In Maths, we have now completed our unit on money and we have just started the next unit, which is time. We spent a lot of time on Thursday looking at some general facts around days, weeks, months and years. Some children will really benefit from making sure that they confidently know the order of the months of the year. We have looked at some tricks that help us work out how many days there are in each month and we have thought about how many days are in one year and also in a leap year. Our homework this week is linked to the learning that we have done on time so far.
